Proposed concepts to introduce Sony Bloggie, a portable video recording device. The device was to be displayed with a notebook computer to demonstrate direct video transfer. Available colours were to be highlighted to consumers.

Ixus
2009. Counter-top P.O.P. display; Client: Canon

Originally for a P.O.P. stand to display the new Canon 100IS, the initial design evolved to one that is versatile enough to hold most of the Ixus line, that could be displayed singularly, in twos, or even lined up in a group of three or four.

Flip
2009. Counter-top P.O.P. display; Client: Linksys

Brief: To design a display to introduce the Flip Mino portable video recorder to the Singapore market. One concept was proposed for each of three targeted market segments - young children, blogging teens and older affluent adults. The design for each market differed accordingly - cool and sophisticated for the high-end market; a focus on skin design for teens; and integrating cute characters on featured skins in a lively background to attract young children.

Melt

Brief: To design a holder for Sony Walkman X-series Melt MP3 player for display and demonstration. The proposed concept, inspired by melting liquids, is designed to be simple, functional yet eye-catching, and to convey the idea of ‘melt’ effectively.

To showcase Sony’s range of carrying cases for the Cybershot digital camera line. Mock-ups of chosen concept were produced for design refinement and minor tweaks to the design details were made along the way.

Healfast
2007. Bronze award winner, Lite-on Awards 2007; Joint project with Donn Koh.
